Violence erupts in Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh after a girl's death
Violence erupted on the streets of Kushinagar area of eastern Uttar Pradesh after a girl lost her life in a road accident today. A mob quickly collected and took to vandalising vehicles and setting them on fire.
The protestors also clashed with the police as tension gripped the area. Kushinagar is located 52 km away from Gorakhpur and is a popular pilgrimage place for the Buddhists.
