Universal Islamic Research Center has launched first Islamic TV Channel in Telugu RM TV (Ruju Margam). It will facilitate 10 crore Telugu speaking people in both the states of Andhra and Telangana. Mr. Shaik Shafi, President and Mr. Siraj ur Rahman, General Secretary of Universal Islamic Research Center told that their organization is engaged in communicating the message of Islam to the people for the past 10 years. It was felt that there is a need to communicate this message in Telugu also. This need was also necessitated due to the misgivings and anti-propaganda of Islam. It may be very surprising to know that there are 10 TV channels in Telugu to propagate Christianity and Hinduism. At present Islamic Telugu TV Channel Rujumargam is being relayed 24 hours on SITI and DIGI Cable (Channel Number 85) or Network (Channel Number 605). Very soon it could be seen completely in both the states.
The main objective of launching this channel is to eradicate misunderstandings about Islam and to put an end to hatred and narrow mindedness against Islam. By using the latest technology, this channel will be able to highlight the real purpose of our life and also to establish a link between the Creator and the creatures. Telugu is the language of crores of people. Mr. Shafi Shaik and Mr. Sirajur Rahman told that very soon programs in Urdu will also be telecast.
